Properties of trigonometric functions
Domain
Allowed values of the argument $\theta$:

$\cos\theta$: $\theta\in(-\infty;+\infty)$
$\tan\theta$: $\theta\neq\dfrac{\pi}{2}+\pi n$, $n\in\mathbb{Z}$

Range
$-1\leq\sin\theta\leq1$
$-1\leq\cos\theta\leq1$

Period
If $f(\theta+T)=f(\theta)$, then $T$ is called a period of the function. Let $\omega$ be the coefficient of the argument. As the coefficient changes, the period of the function also changes.
$\sin(\omega\theta)\Rightarrow T=\dfrac{2\pi}{\omega}$
$\cos(\omega\theta)\Rightarrow T=\dfrac{2\pi}{\omega}$
$\tan(\omega\theta)\Rightarrow T=\dfrac{\pi}{\omega}$
$\csc(\omega\theta)\Rightarrow T=\dfrac{2\pi}{\omega}$
$\sec(\omega\theta)\Rightarrow T=\dfrac{2\pi}{\omega}$
$\cot(\omega\theta)\Rightarrow T=\dfrac{\pi}{\omega}$
